Buying a house is a huge financial commitment and most buyers already stretch their financial limit to purchase the house. Therefore, they want to buy a house that they need to do little or nothing to move in.

It costs very little to put a doorknob on the cabinet, a new fashionable faucet or a modernized light fixture. Minor things will help the overall appeal of the house.

Get rid of the wallpaper, paint and/or carpet that have strong colors such as yellow, blue, green, black or red. Try replacing it with neutral colors (white or beige).

The reason is some people will love a specific color and the others don't. The color itself will help eliminate 50% of the prospected buyers. Neutral color is almost acceptable to all buyers (that's why you see model homes decorated in neutral tones). We need to stage your house in a way that it will appeal to as many buyers as possible.
