Keep the house in clean and spotless condition.

Repair or replace missing or defected appliances or other defective items in the house. Buyers are looking for a well cared home. They think small defect is an indication that the house is not well taking care of and it will make them worry about other more serious problem such as plumbing, leaking or electrical problems that they cannot see.

Make the room as bright as possible during showing by turn on the light and roll up the blinds. Most buyers do not like a dark and gloomy house. They will nevertheless purchase a bright and airy one.

Make sure the house maintains room temperature if possible.
